There are a few different options for this scenario:

1. If you are trying to match to a downloaded statement, enter each payment
for invoice for each customer manually, then delete the lump sum download.



2. Or you could setup a separate account called payment for invoice in which
you enter all the individual payments and leave the lump sum in your regular
account.

side. I set up invoices for my clients and when they pay
I receive payment through the invoice section. Sometimes
I may deposit several invoice payments on the same bank
deposit, so when I download transactions from the bank
they will never match with my money register and if I
delete the downloaded transaction it just keeps
redownloading it everytime I update my bank records. How
