After disabeling a handful stocks to be updated online it
works again.
So the tip "Glyn Simpson, MVP" <glyn[at]serf.org> worked for
me that apparently a bad or removed stock symbol prevents
the update of the whole list (w/o error msg).

I would prune the Watchlist to eliminate all entries you don't need or
care about. This may not fix but it sure makes it run faster if you
have a large list.

getting your response. Believe it or not following the instructions below
fixed my problem.

Step 1 Check Money settings
=======================
1. Please open Money and go to the Portfolio page.
2. Under Common Tasks, click Update prices and then click "Pick quotes to
download".
3. Clear the "Stop downloading quotes for..." checkbox. Click Ok.
4. Close Money and reopen it. Then check the "Stop downloading quotes
for..." checkbox.

Check if the prices can be updated now.

I've seen in the past that sometimes the whole quote list doesn't download
if there is an individual quote in there which is no longer valid - this
might be something to check.

I havent been able to download Quotes since 5/13. Strange thing is I dont
get an error message or any indication they failed excpept ... the 'Read
call summary Messages" it shows last time quotes were downloaded 5/13
successfully. Other online fuctions seem to work ... Money update, Credit
card downloads. Additionally, a second Money file I have works fine. I did
try running salve and there were no broken records in my Money file. Is
anyone else seeing this behavior? TIA
