Two final thoughts:

1) Use news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.money for better luck
with posting/reading.

2) Are you also recording employer contributions and the corollary
investments???

You might also want to provide some more insight into where you are seeing
this. Do you have a 401k cash account? It its balance negative? What about
the Investment Account|Account Summary? What's it say your cash position is?

One other thing I'm wondering--are you picking up investment transactions
from somewhere without actually getting the contributions behind these
investments recognized?

How did the transactions get there? Downloaded data? Transfer from
paychecks?

Hi all-

I've recently set up MS Money 2004 and can't figure out why my 401
investment account displays my contributions as a negative value. Thi
in turn impacts the Total Account Value to show less than what'
actually in the account. Is this customizable or is there a reason fo
showing personal contributions as negative?

Thanks in advance for any guidance..
