| Thank you for the tip on #1... very much appreciated! Too bad for #2 and 3 ! Those happen even more frequently than the first for me. Hope Microsoft is listening ! | Are these things possible? 1) Yes. This isn't even particularly hard or cryptic. I'm wondering if you have something different in mind than I do. Please describe precisely what you want to do. I routinely transfer cash to an investment account and buy investments (from the Investment Cash account as well as from my checking account) with scheduled transactions. You can use the New|Investment Purchase choice to setup one investment. You can create a Bill that is split into multiple Buy Investment/CD:[name of acct] entries, too. (This latter one will require you to type out "buy investment/cd" since Money won't put this in the pull-down. It'll happily take it, though.) 2) No. 3) No. It is an ongoing sad fact of life that many types of transactions that can be entered cannot be scheduled. | Is there any way in Money 2004 to have an investment transaction set up in Bills / Deposits as a recurring transaction? This would be extremely useful for: 1) Automatic Payment Plan into an investment each month / quarter 2) Scheduled dividend income 3) Scheduled interest income Any ideas? I do not know why you can not add an investment account transaction to the Bills & Deposits section ? Thanks, Ken. |
