| 1) Don't "import" them. "Open" them or "restore" them, depending on whether they are .MNY or .MBF files. 2) How long are you waiting? The upgrade can take a LONG time. That time will be spent with the CPU mostly pegged, the application reported as "not responding," and the hourglass shown. This fact will be more pronounced for a file with a lot of data. Since you've been using Money for a LONG TIME, I suspect you have a wile with a lot of data. 3) Have you checked that the M04 installation works with the Sample data file? | I just installed Money 2004 on a new Dell computer. I had been running Money 4.0 on an older computer. I copied the 4.0 files to the new Dell, and I am trying to import them, or simply get them working some way. When I try to open them with Money 2004, or when I open Money 2004 and then try to do an import, Money 2004 hangs, and never again opens correctly. I have uninstalled Money 2004 and reinstalled it several times already. How can I get my Money 4.0 data into Money 2004? |
