Default How do I recover my Money 2004 file?

Hello all,

Money 2004 is my first experience with MS Money; I have been a long-time
Quicken user. When I installed Money 2004 then imported my Quicken Data
I had a lot of homework to do: balancing accounts, etc. At first I made
a lot of mistakes so I started a new file and started over. This second
try worked out well. I kept both files and their backups. Recently I
decided to delete the original file which I hadn't used for months and
rename the file I had been using. It seemed very straightforward.

What a disaster! I ended up with a totally blank file: no accounts, no
registers, no history, no settings, no nothing; only the generic Money
pages with none of my information.

I tried to restore a backed up file, but the results were the same.
Even opening the unrenamed restored file left me with nothing.

PLEASE! What's happening, and what do I do about it?

Just as importantly, I tried to call the telephone support # given at
the web site (425-637-9308) and got a nice welcome to MS Gaming support
and was informed that there would be a long wait. I hung up. Does
anyone know what's going on? Can anyone help? Itīs essential I get a
quick answer because my credit card was cancelled due to fraudulent
purchases. I have a lot of companies to notify and auto- that will be
processed and refused if I donīt.

With many thinks in advance,
