I agree. Microsoft still does not get it. The downside
is that Intuit is even more arrogant and expensive. My
understanding is that your ability to download will have
to be renewed after 18 months.

I have been using Can edition without problem -- "help" provides specific
instruction to change from US to Canadian if you did not setup correctly
when you started the program.

Default Canadian Edition, eh? - NOT

My CD says Canadian Edition - but not the spelling, not
the Accounts, not the handling of investments. For example
this Canadian edition has Retirement options for US
products - 401K, IRA, etc. - No Canadian account types
such as RRSP, RIF, etc. How could this possibly be
overlooked. I imagine it was ignored. These accounts are a
main reason I use accounting software - to track taxable
and non-taxable investments.

Other than the little Maple leaf that decorates the label
is there anything about this software that makes it a
Canadian Edition? Perhaps the added cost of another
distribution channel.

If anyone knows how an RRSP with regular returns can be
tracked and used with on-line downloads, I certainly would
appreciate their help. I have tried selecting "other" for
the account type but then cannot download - even manually.
