To the extent that this might be some kind of wedged data in the registry, I
would probably try the uninstall. As always, make sure you have
protected/backup copies of your data.

If I want to reinstall MSM2002Deluxe from the CD to (hopefully) correct this
problem, do I first need to uninstall it, or can I reinstall over it?

Try resizing your screen up or down to see if you get a new view of Money.

No ... it's not off screen somewhere; I'm already familiar with that
anomaly, and, unfortunately, this is not that problem. I just can't get the
program to give me a Restore view at all. Maximize and Minimize views work
fine, but not Restore for some strange reason. This just started happening
recently, but I don't recall anything unusual occurring with my PC at that
time, and all other programs work in Restore mode, so that's not an issue.
Thi si just with Money 2002 Deluxe (v10).

It's probably off-screen somewhere. Once you get it where you can't see it,
try the Alt+[spacebar], Alt + M. arrow keys trick to see if you can move it
into the window.

When I do the last key strokes (with "R"), the entire view minimizes without
giving me a resizable window.

One last guess.

Hit Alt+ [spacebar]
Hit R
Then try the previously mentioned techniques?

Well, you've exhausted my guesses. Good luck. Hopefully somebody else will
have a clue.

The M key, by itself, does not do anything (except it should, if you are in
the state I think you are) change the mouse cursor the four headed arrow.

Do the cursor keys after that do anything???

Let's try another sequence for an alternate state:

Hit Alt+[spacebar]
Hit S
Use the Right (one press) then Left and Down (one press) then Up cursor
arrow keys to resize the window smaller from its lower right corner.

Thanks for the suggestion; however, your "Hit M" key stroke does nothing.

Maybe. Try this:

Hit Alt+[spacebar]
Hit M
Use the cursor keys to move the window down and right.

Now see if you can grab the upper left corner with your mouse and resize it.

Default screen view mode problem

Money started appearing recently only in full Maximize view; the Restore
view does not work. The program will Minizize the view, but not Restore to
a partial screen frame view. Can anyone help with this problem?

Thanks, Russell
