When you started up the trial version it made a copy of your *.mny file and
told you where it was (typically in the same directory). It will be called
*.m11. Go find that file, rename it as *.mny and double click on it (M2003
being installed of course).

The downside is you are going to have to re-input all transactions since you
started the trial version.

When you converted, Money left a copy of your Money 2003 file named
*.m11. I would delete/rename the current Money 2004 *.mny file. I
would copy the *.m11 file to *.mny and open that file with Money
2003.

The file will not include the entries that you made since
conversion.

Default I need to downgrade

Several causes... some money features run in backround,
locking up your file. make sure all money 04 apps are
closed, look in your try lower right.

do you have a copy of your original 03 file before
conversion? if so, you're ok. I'd say make 100% sure you
have a backup copy of your data, remove money 04,
reinstall money 03, you should be good.

windows may be associating your money files to the 04
version. the above will fix that.

don't know for sure if it will work, but it's what i
would do. if you have backup copies of all your data
files, 03 and 04... like on cd rom, your safe.

Default I need to downgrade

I downloaded the demo of Money 2004 to try out the
features, but now when I try to start up 2003 and open my
same account file, I get an error that it cannot locate
the file or cannot open it possibly because it is read
only. I've tried to restore backup off my hard-drive,
off a floppy, every work-around I can think of short of
deleting the demo which worries me because I don't want
to lose my data. Should I backup to floppy, delete both
versions and reinstall 2003? Would that even make a
difference? Any help would be appreciated.
