You tell me? Since I've done this, I'm not sure what you think the issue is
here.

Default Backup

I think this is a serious oversight by the folks at the
Money programming party. Forget backing up to a CD/DVD or
any other drive that has been remapped. What happens when
someone wants to send it to their server via a wireless
card? We're SOL! Finding a new computer with a 3.5"
floppy is like finding one without Windows......pretty
rare!

Doug,

I have found that the backup seems to be cumulative. That is, over
time, I needed first 1, then 2, and finally 3 floppies to back up.
One day, just after backing up the whole system, I reformatted the
floppies which I had been using for Money, and the backup took a
single floppy! As my data grew, eventually the minimum was 2, but
whenever it asked for a third, I repeated the format process when I
had time and it shrank back to 2.

Default Backup

I have Money 2004 Standard Edition. My file is now 2 yrs
old and has a lot of data. It now asks for a second flopy
disk to save a backup.

I would like to save to a CD or DVD and keep it updated
with changes saved each time I close "Money" (just like
it does when backing up to a flopy).

I can't figure out how to save the file or "backup" the
file to one of those media without the file closing. I
thought maybe I needed to format a CD or DVD to keep the
recording session open to backup to each time I
use "Money".

My computer has "Drag N Drop" CD/DVD burning software and
I can't find a way to keep the session open for multi
recordings or "backups".

I was hoping to change the backup location in "Money" to
a CD/DVD drive, but I don't see that option. Can anyone
help? Thanks
