If you crunch the numbers you'll know what to send the first time.

It's not Money, it's Bank One's system that is causing this. System that
allowed it since 1995, and now ,"unfortunately", does not, due to the recent
"exciting enhancements" they did.

How about an extra mortgage payment, for one instance?

So why not make sure you're entering it right the first time?

Here is a radical thought: if you're not sure whether you want to
send an extra mortgage payment, why not look at the total
due, the amount in your checking account, and then decide
how much you want to send before you do an online payment?

Besides when I put in Epay at my local bank it's gone in less than 12
hours. I put one through last night and it was paid this morning.

When you say it is pending are you looking at the right page for
your bank on their website? At the bank I use (Fleet) the bill will
be listed as paid under the paid bills section but it will be listed
as pending in the account activity section.

I know we all like these "automatic" entries, but does it take a lot of your
time to once a month make a manual transaction in Money and write an "off line"
check or do a debit memo thru Bank One online system? I keep saying, what do
you expect from a software product that costs us about $20 a year? I think we
get an awful lot for what we pay. JMHO. Steve

Default Bank One: one more aspect of the Exciting Changes

Hello:

just learned about this. The new exciting online payment system made
impossible sending epay to a payee who already has another pending online
payment.

Which means, for instance, that it's impossible to send an extra principal
mortgage payment if the regular payment is scheduled as Apay. The new
exciting system helpfully advises to cancel all pending payments before
processing the new one.

Nice job, Bank One. Killed yet another feature that was working since 1995
or so.

regards
