Of course, this would likely mess up other features, such as being able to track previous online payments. Perhaps setting up an alias would serve your purpose. --ron |

A really neat way to find prior postings in this group is to use the Google Usenet Groups archive. http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search enter words that you think would be in relevant posts into the "all of the words" box. Enter microsoft.public.money into the newsgroup box. Consider selecting Sort By Date. And while I don't see a way to accomplish this, here are some things I would try if I had your situation: What I would do is to make a copy of my Money file and experiment with advanced Find and Replace (Tools-> FindAndReplace and choose the Advanced) on the copy. On item on the Details tab is Type: UnsentDirectBillPayments. I don't see what you are looking for, but perhaps you will find a way. Another thing I would try is if you use Move Accounts&Bills-> Categories&Payees-> Payees ; select a payee and use Move. Maybe Money will distinguish the two. - quote - > Thanks, > Mike > "Mike" <mloy[at]bellsouth.net> wrote in message > news:Nnxlc.83385$Yw5.66210[at]bignews4.bellsouth.net... > > In Money 2004 Deluxe I am offerred the opportunity to change the name of > all > > payees in the 'setup your payees' screen EXCEPT those to whom electronic > > payments have been made at any time in the past. | This is from Mike again to my own post. Since no one has responded, I'm suspicious that this issue has been well-addressed in the past. I've done what I thought was a good search on this list, but with no results. If it has been addressed before, I would sincerely appreciate a pointer from someone. | In Money 2004 Deluxe I am offerred the opportunity to change the name of all payees in the 'setup your payees' screen EXCEPT those to whom electronic payments have been made at any time in the past. How can I edit the payees name for these? -- Mike mloy[at]citadelenterprises.com |
