Whoops, I meant to include that in my original post. The
Credit Union screen allows:
MS Money OFX
Quicken WebConnect
QIF
I use OFX.

What file format is the download from your Credit Union? If QIF, that might
explain why.

There is no setting. Most accounts get remembered. I don't know why
some do not.

This is a much better approach since you don't lose all
you transaction history. I just used this on a credit
union that can send my OFX files when I request them. I
had also selected a wrong account one time and could not
disconnect it until today. Thanks a bunch!

P.S. When I was using Money 2000 with this credit union I
only had to select the account one time in the "Choose a
Money Account" dialog. After that money would
automatically use the account I selected from then on
out. Money 2003 Deluxe forces me to select the account
every time I download from my Credit Union. Any way
around this? I don't want to select the wrong account
again!

http://support.microsoft.com/default...90&Product=mny
should also work.

Reference
http://support.microsoft.com/default...41&Product=mny
Even though the title says 2001, the applies to section mentions all recent
versions of Money.

Delete the financial institution associated with the account and then read
the financial institution is, I understand, the approach. I'd like to add
this to the FAQ, but I need somebody who really understands it to validate
this answer.

Default Money 2003 importing statements to wrong account

I donwloaded a statement from one of my banking
institutions, but by mistake I updated a wrong account
with that statement. Now every time I download a
statement from that institution, it goes directly to that
wrong accout. How can I stop this automatic update of
downloded statements?

Thanks
