Default Debt Plan on MSFT 2004

I tried to set up a debt plan on money 2004. I inputed
all the information and said that I wanted to make monthly
payments of $350. The problem is when it set up a payment
schedule for me it said that I should pay $2,000 for the
first month. Is there a way to fix this so I can get
payments that are more sane or is this just the way that
the debt planner works?
