| I think this is not a "problem" in the sense of Mooney not working as designed. BP and DRP are just designed to do some things that don't necessarily make consistent sense. But if you've followed the postings for a while, you have some sympathy for the designers. Fore each person that just knows it should work one way, another person will post who just know it should work the opposite way. | One more thing.. When I view the expense planner none of this shows up - so how does the monthly budget show it as a budgeted value when I never set it up this way in the "Enter your expenses" page! | In Account Details the "Include in the Budget Planner" box is checked for each account including the new one. I have included all the accounts in my debt reduction planner too. I see the large number when I choose Budget..Current Month. It is reported Under a Heading called Special with a line item called Debt. When I double click on the large value in the 'Actual' Column a window shows the money transfered from the two accounts as separate line items along with lines for my actual debt payments. Interesting that the number is also shown in the 'Budgeted' Column even though I never set the budget up this way... Any suggestions? - quote - > -----Original Message----- > Is it show in the expense section or the transfers out of budget accounts > section? | Is it show in the expense section or the transfers out of budget accounts section? If the latter, go to the receiving account's details and set it to be included in the Budget Planner. | Money 2003: I recently opened a new credit line to consolidate my outstanding credit card debt. I set the account up in Money, and then I transfered money out of two other debt accounts (my other credit cards) to the new account. These transfers from one debt account to another debt account show up as an expense in my monthly budget - making it look like I 'spent' a lot more this month than I actually did. How do I rectify the situation to show a simple transfer from one debt account to another without it showing up on my budget as an expense? |
