A really neat way to find prior postings in this group is to use the
Google Usenet Groups archive.

http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search enter words that you
think would be in relevant posts into the "all of the words" box.
Enter microsoft.public.money into the newsgroup box. Consider
selecting Sort By Date.

You could also ask a friend who is more adept at computers how to
use a non-web newsreader program.

Tony

Easy.Just search on your user name in the right column, which is
alphabetized.

I think the OP is using the Microsoft Web page interface, not a newsreader,
so this may not be applicable, either. Note the email
anonymous[at]discussions.microsoft.com.

Click on the from column, look for y our own name and hope that someone
responded in such a way as to create a thread.

Not on the Microsoft Community Newsgroups web page. You could search
http://groups.google.com. Such a feature is commonplace in most regular
newsreaders. (In Outlook Express, you use View|Show replies to my messages.)
Try news:msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.money.
