Uninstall/reinstall won't affect your data. That is all safely tucked away
in, typically, MyMoney.mny. That is why I was suggesting you make an extra
copy of that file.

with 2+ yrs of data associated with the program.

I think of uninstalling/reinstalling as a last resort,
akin to the brain surgery involved in registry editing.
I know it won't be that bad but I'm pouting.

Just off hand, if I upgraded to MS 2004, would that solve
the issue?

intended for M2004.

The fix was to uninstall Money & reinstall in a different directory (some
people found using the same directory was OK).

You could try this. Make sure that you have good backups and indeed copy
your *.mny file to another directory (just to be safe).

Outlook, or programs other than Microsoft also. For
example, when I start Earthlink, this series of messages
pops up and I have to click the X to get it to stop.
Sometimes the series runs 2 or 3 times in a row.

I am up-to-date with Money 2002.
Windows XP Home
Norton Anti-Virus is up-to-date
Have run Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware
