 Re: Error message Try opening the sample data file Sample.MNY in the Program Files\Microsoft Money folder by double-clicking on it from Windows Explorer. If that works, the problem is with your data file. See http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=104 for information on the msmoney -s and salv.exe repair tools. If the Sample won't open, you may need to reinstall or consider things like the msxml3.dll voodoo from http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=130. The latter only applies to very recent versions--you don't mention your version of Money. This is almost always relevant information when you are posting for help. "G.
