Actually, I can't take the credit for that one. If I did post it at one
time, it was because I saw someone else have results with it. It makes
sense that it works because when you download a statment, it is a temp file
until it's imported into Money, unless you save it and then import.

It may have been Bonnie who posted the suggestion to delete temp
files first. She also suggested the cookies, but people who did not
delete the cookies reported good results. The -s opening seems
logical, handles various anomalies, and is safe.

People have reported success with this. It is easy without apparent
downside. What is apparent is that it works around a bug. I suspect
that bug is at least partially due to the intertwining of Money to
IE.

Why does this work, and how did you discover this?

I've had this same issue with ALL (5) of my online
statement accounts for several days, and haven't found any
help topic or helpful support from MS. Just curious what
this process does, and why it works (if it does).

Close Money

In Internet Explorer delete your browser temporary files with
Tools-> InternetOptions-> DeleteFiles.

Then open Money with Start-> Run and entering
"msmoney -s" without the quotes into the box.

These two things may fix some or all.

Default Downloading bank account info

Money does not record the downloaded information into the
register. The file downloads from the bank and the
dialog box opens but after answering questions the
information is not entered into the register. The problem
is with one account and not with another.
