| The message says: Money could not open the file and will close now. Your file may be corrupt To repair the file, go to the Windows Start menu and click Run. Type "memory -s'filename'" where 'filename' is the complete path to your Money file, and then press Enter. If Money still cannot open your file, call Microsoft Technical Support. I thought I would try this message board first. Also, I'm not home until after 6:00 PM each evening. Unfortunately I do not have a back up of the data file. | What it's telling you about running "msmoney -s" is probably correct. There is also a thing called the "salv.exe" utility. See http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=104 for more information about this whole process. Be sure and do the test with the Sample.MNY data file from the Program Files\Microsoft Money folder. When you solve this, please start making backups.
