"Gain" column not working on Portolio page

right-click on the word GAIN - select "Customize Current VIew". From "
Portfoilio Columns" tab , choose "Price Appreciation" - ADD - highlight it,
move UP near top (so you can see it on screen.)

Is that what you want ?

I just updated - on one of my mutuals the gain shows as $5.08 - that's for
TODAY
The Price Appreciation shows 472 which is "what I'm ahead".
It's Microsoft terminology - I don't like it either.

After entering all our various brokerage accounts, I
can't figure out why the "Gain" column for one of the
accounts is appearing as blank--even though it should be
displaying a gain. (Money 2004)

The account has had 6 simple transactions: 3 buys and 3
sells, each alternating.

The opening balance was $80,000. The current balance
(after the 3 buys and 3 sells) is $81,579.19. I would
assume, then, that the "Gain" column should show
$1,579.19. But, instead, it shows nothing.

What am I doing wrong??? Thanks!
