That is the sort of solution you need I am afraid. Many of us have been
badgering MS over the years to get a lot more flexible over frequencies!

I car-share with two other people. When it was just the two of us it was easy to set up the bills for petrol etc as every two weeks.
Now there are three of us, things are a bit more complicated. I guess that the only thing I could do is set up single occurances with individual dates for when it's my turn to drive. That's very long winded though?!

Am I looking at this from the wrong angle

Not directly. The only workaround I have used is to set up three payments
once a month. e.g. week1 amount; week2 amount; week3 amount.
