There are a couple ways of addressing this. Then Download the bank data again. But rather than processing the new transactions, right-click where it says you have transactions to read and choose Delete. When you download later, Money will not download the deleted transactions. You would have to add transactions manually that you might have missed in the process. The good news is that this should be a one-time transitional event. If you do not have a suitable backup, it may be useful to know that you can sort the register by order of entry. Sometimes that is useful to identify the new transactions so that you can delete or void them as needed. If you do not have a suitable backup, also review your backup procedures. |

| Prior to this week, if I downloaded my bank information into Money 2003, only new items were entered. Now it enters everything again so I have double entries. Deleting them can cause additional errors. Also, when you download the information, the program either overwrites the entry Payee you have in Money or doesn't recognize it so again, a duplicate entry. My bank did recently make some sort of upgrade to a new download process (OFX?) |
