| I have encountered a similar error in Money 2003 Standard. I have not been able to find a resolution as of yet and I get the message when I close Money after making changes. If I do not make a change then all is good. Here is the error from App Log: Event Type: Error Event Source: Microsoft Money Event Category: None Event ID: 1000 Date: 3/27/2004 Time: 6:01:58 PM User: N/A Computer: MAWILLXP Description: The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Microsoft Money ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: msmoney.exe, 11.0.0.716, ntdll.dll, 5.1.2600.1217, 0003381b. Martin - quote - > -----Original Message----- > I have been receiving this error as well. | bill It is probably due to corruption. I suggest you open a case with microsoft as they do not believe that they have a corruption problem with this product. | Hello, I have recently started getting an "Operation cannot be performed" error when doing various Money activities in Money 2004 Small Business. When I click on More Info, this is the message I get: "Details Product: Money ID: 34 Source: mnyob99 Version: 12.0 Symbolic Name: errUnknown Message: This operation cannot be performed. Explanation Usually caused by a corupt file. User Action Run the Money File Repair tool to fix the problem." I've run the Repair Tool, and even re-installed Money (did not uninstall it, just re-installed). Has anyone lese encountered this error? Is there some way to fix it? Thanks! |
