Do you know if you are doing QIF or OFX download? I would suspect
that you are doing QIF download. In that case, Money's only way to
see if you have downloaded the transaction before is to compare it
to what is in the register. But if you have removed the transaction
by archiving, there is nothing to compare against.

Some institutions allow you to set a date range for manual
downloads. If they download all available data, I guess you would
want to wait until sufficient time has passed before archiving
again.

I have Money 2002. Since archiving my last years file, I
have had the problem where about 9 of the last years
transactions keep comming up as new trasaction not
previously downladed. When in fact they have been cleared
and reconciled. This has happened about 5 times. To
correct it I have to manually delete these transactions
to get a correct balance. Any clues as to why this is
happening?
