That is to say, don't delete your CURRENT .mny file.

Old ones may be files you made copies of for various reasons--
perhaps to experiment with.

..mn8 is a backup of Money 2000 file made at the time of conversion.
It is probably old enough to delete.

Default Money file types

I have been using Money for years, version 2000, then
2002, now 2004.
I noticed i have on my hard drive four files; .mbf - i
know it is the backup file, .m10 - which i understand is
the file for 2004, but i also have a .mn8 & .mny...??? are
they old files that can be deleted? By the properties of
the files, they look like they haven't been opened in
years, leading me to believe they are old version files,
and the more recient .m10 is all i need (also .mbf).
am i correct?
thanks in advance,
david
