Runtime error trying to open Money 2003

If that MS KB article doesn't work for you...

Try re-registering the 'msxml3.dll' file with by using the regsvr32 command

Start | Run then type 'regsvr32 msxml3.dll' and click OK

I feel your pain, but I'm not much help. I have the same
problem with 2002, and I can't get the product ID, since
I can't open the program!! The "tracking ID # on the
package doesn't seem to be the one needed. I haven't had
any reply from comments sent to MS. Good luck!

I get a runtime error when trying to open Money 2003. I
downloaded Money 2004 and the same occurs. All other
software on my system is working fine. I have done all
the steps in the one fix in the MS Knowledge base article
(Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 305254). All to no
avail. I have edited the registry, deleted the program
and reloaded. Not sure what to do, but I may be a Quicken
user if this doesn't get fixed. I attempted to use
my .NET id to send for help from Microsoft but that
requires a product ID and that is difficult to get if you
cannot get into the program in the first place.

Any help will be appreciated.
