I am having the same problem. Yesterday it worked fine.
Today it won't open at all. Reinstalled and nothing.
Tried to contact Microsoft and you have to enter a
product # which you can't get unless you can open the
program. Otherwise you must pay $35. There customer
service makes no sense, how can i give a product # if I
can't open the product. How can something just no longer
open though all files are there and in tact. PLEASE let
me know if you hear of a solution...

I did a Google search on "dll" and found dll-files.com.
They don't have my missing files listed. Damn, I thought
I might have had a solution. Hey, Microsoft, do you have
my missing files somewhere that I can download?

Just checked Money support site - not a peep about a
problem that is obviously affecting everyone who has money
2002. Unbelievable that they won't at least post something
that acknowledges the problem and gives us an idea of when
a fix can be expected. In the meantime, we all have to
sit around with our thumbs up our butts. Or we
uninstall/reinstall, lose all data, and maybe it works. I
know problems happen, but at least acknowledge it and deal
with it. It is ridiculous I have to go to a board like
this to figure out the problem when MS clearly knows of it.

OK, did a refi with QuickenLoans and got a copy of
Quicken Premier 2004 with the closing package. I used
Quicken for years and never had a problem. Installed
Quicken 04. It can't read the Money 02 back-up disk. I
need to open Money to get my data. OK, I download trial
version of Money 04. Figure I will be able to read back-
up and move data to Quicken. Well, not exactly. Trial
version cannot export data to any Quicken version. It
looks like an update download from MS screwed up Money
02. It is now Tues. 2-17-04 10 PM EST. I still do not see
a fix from MS. Come on Redmond, I need to get into Money
2002 so I can get mt data and move it to Quicken. I will
then uninstall Money 2002. Thanks for the offer of a
trial version of Money 2004, but, as I never had a
problem with any Quicken updates for the versions of it
that I used, I think I wil give that one a pass. I just
want to get my data and make Money go away.
