Problem solved (for me at least). Tools-> Change My Web Access Options.
Check the box to delete all MSN Money information, and voila. No more
MSN Money synch. Hooray! Hopefully the bug will get fixed sometime
before I feel the urge to use MSN Money (which, in the last 3 years, has
been seldom).

Update: This seems to only occur during the "Synching With MSN Money"
phase. Is there any way to permanently disable this? I have to manually
de-select it every time I choose "Update Now". However, doing do
definitely stops the crash.

Default Money 2004 Premium: Crash During Internet Update

My Money 2004 Std version just started crashing on startup
as yours does. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Now
it only crashes when I try to view the portolio view.
Strange?

Default Money 2004 Premium: Crash During Internet Update

Since about 3 days ago, Money 2004 Premium fails when I try to do an
Internet Update. I get one of these error dialogs:

"Microsoft Money has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience."

When I view the error report details, I get this:

AppName: msmoney.exe AppVer: 12.0.0.613 ModName: mscofd.dll
ModVer: 12.0.0.613 Offset: 0000f8b9

Anyone else have this problem? Any solution?

I am running XP Pro with all the latest patches.

Thanks,
Larry M
