| No, you are not. A Loan Payment should be setup as a scheduled Bill in the Bills & Deposits page. When you go to edit this series of Loan Payments (go find it in the list, R-click, Edit|Edit series), Money will recompute the remaining number of like payments it needs to schedule to payoff the loan balance. The existing payment history is irrelevant to this question. All that matters is the current loan balance, the scheduled bill (amount and frequency) and the interest rate. When you talk about seeing "Loan End Date," where are you seeing this??? Loan Account Details? (I didn't see this there in one I looked at this morning.) Number of remaining payments/series end date in a scheduled Loan Payment on Bills & Deposits? Loan Amortization Report? | Re. "loan end date"--try editing the series of loan payments. Money calculates the number of payments remaining--hence runout date--whenever you do this based on the payment amount, interest date, and loan balance. Re. reports--I have no idea if these are advertised somewhere as transferring, but given the differences between the reports in each product, I'd not be surprised if they didn't attempt to map Quicken reports to comparable customizations of Money reports. | Please Help: I am trying to get my Quicken data transfered to Money. I have had it with Quicken. Problem is that my home loan doesn't transfer properly. The ending balances match, but the loan ending date is off. I think this is because the mortgage company changed 3 times. It lists the number of remaining payments as 281 when it is 262. I cannot seem to make the proper adjustments. Also, NONE of my Quicken reports transfered over to Money. Any ideas on that ? Please Reply. Thanks |
