Problem is still there... first update of the day still gives the error.

After the update, the smrtconnupdate.xml file in the Webcache contains the
following information:
<smrtconnupdate<lastattempt date="20040217"/<lastsuccess date="20040216"/<files> <file name="TAXCUT" date="20031120"/> </files</smrtconnupdate
If I change the last attempt date to the 16th and try again, everything
works fine - until tomorrow.

Guess that means that there were no updates, or that
errors finding them are masked? As usual, still can't get
quotes. Yes, I've tried the changing "quotes to download"
back and forth to no avail. Last weekend, the quote
problem was magically cleared for 1-2 days, but is now

Is there any way to get Microsoft to support their
