Thanks Bob. Is there any reason not to do all of them in one file if> from there. What it does best is handle a single person or a single > business - so go with multiple files. | Don't forget Money was designed as a *Personal* finance manager and grew from there. What it does best is handle a single person or a single business - so go with multiple files. | Hello, My wife and I each have separate home-based businesses as well as our personal finances to track. We own a copy of Microsoft Money 2003 Deluxe & Business. The problem is that in starting to setup our accounts and businesses it appears that we are limited to doing our personal accounts and *ONE* business per money file. What have you folks done to get around this limitation? Is there a preferred way to do this even if the software will not allow more than one business per file? I thought about creating separate files for each business AND our personal finances. In other words that would mean three Money files! If there is a better way to do this I would prefer to hear it before I get too far into the process. It seems very odd to make a limit on the number of businesses one can configure per money file. Thanks for any assistance... -bf |
