Default Re: Budgeting in Money '04: apply to last month?

The only way I know is to pretend it's January (seriously). This entails
either (a) setting your PC clock back a month and/or (b) scheduling bills
and deposits with their January date, then moving forward to the present.

Good luck,
Derrick

Default Budgeting in Money '04: apply to last month?

Hi,

I am trying to create my yearly (2004) budget in Money
2004. We are mid-February and I would like this budget to
apply starting in 01/01/2004, meaning in the past (since
the beginning of the year).

Unfortunatly, Money only shows budgeted items starting
this month (Feb). For example: all my income in Jan,
shows as actuals, but non-budgeted.

This has the annoying effect of totally messing up my
yearly numbers, since the total year numbers do NOT
include any budget for January, while the actuals DO
include January, making any comparison meaningless.
So here's the question: how can I force Money to apply my
newly created budget to the past month??

(upon saving my budget, I did tell Money it covers the
whole year, but it didn't change a thing)

Thanks
Cesar
