| I just use the BOA bill pay, and every now and then download the ofx file, which reflects the cleared transactions. I definitely do not enter them twice. If I have written a check with my printer, and it has cleared BOA, the program will usually recognize it as an existing transaction, or ask whether it is associated with a prior check transaction or not. -- William L. Many of my transactions (if not most) are set up as ACH types of> entry? Do you do online billpay and transactions, then enter that into > Money? I was trying to avoid double work. I enter everything into > Money to help keep track of all of my various accounts. transactions or recurring on BOA. I have the same transactions set up in PayBills in Money. Hence, both transactions are done automatically, one by BOA and the other by Money. I then download the transactions using Money Active whatever (open not save) from BOA which causes a match between the two for reconciliations. I write two or three checks a month and enter them into my PDA using Pocket Money when I write the check. Those transactions are picked up by Money 2004 on the PC whenever I sync the PDA. After the check is cleared, it is picked up when I download transactions from Money. I have a handfull (3 or 4 per month) that I process both on BOA and Money (such as transfers between accounts). Hence, I really do not have a problem with doing double work. Everything is pretty much automated. -- Thanks, Mike. |

| Actually, I prefer using the BOA web access rather than the standard Money direct connect. Why? 1. It's free! Why pay just to get the same thing integrated.... 2. It's easy... a few extra steps, yea (you open Money, open your web browser, go to and sign onto BOA, then pick your acounts and download) but still not hard. 3. I can access BOA and my accounts ANYWHERE that I can logon to a secure web browser. If I am away on vacation or visiting with relatives, I can still sign on and pay bills, etc. Once you use it you find it really isn't that hard and works just as well... plus you can't beat the price! | Yes, www.bankofamerica.com will support downloading both OFX (for Money) and QFX (for Quicken). Bank of America made a deal with Intuit so that only Quicken and QuickBooks will have Direct Connect. They are still in the process of aligning the former NationsBank and BankAmerica IT operations. DAE "William L.
