| I have experienced precisely the same problem, and would appreciate if you would post any solution that you may have discovered. - quote - > -----Original Message----- > I have found that changes to the budget for whatever reason often don't > take effect until the next month. | I have found that changes to the budget for whatever reason often don't take effect until the next month. Try looking at next months budget and see if the figure is correct. Not sure why it does this but it is very annoying. | In relation to my previous posting below, I should have also said that the budget reporting page has another problem: it is also showing more budgeted monthly debt than is indicated in the debt reduction planner. Would this be related to the problem below? - quote - > -----Original Message----- > I'm running Money 2002 Standard Edition. | I'm running Money 2002 Standard Edition. I have constructed a budget in which the income and expenses match each month. But when I click on the toolbar's "Budget" icon, the page that comes up reports a figure for budgeted expenses that is higher than the total I identified when creating the budget. This page ("Review your current budget status") shows I am in the red in the "Budgeted" column, when I should be balanced. When I click on "Edit budget" I see that my original budgeted expense total is still there, and balances out the budgeted income total as intended. What is inflating the entry for the current month's budgeted expenses on the reporting page? How can I correct this? Thanks... |
