Bills&Deposits for future payments. Have the transaction entered beforehand as an estimated amount, and then both downloads should ask if it is the same. Be sure that when the transaction first gets entered, the C column is empty. It should be if you entered the scheduled transaction from scratch. If you somehow fail to match the download with that transfer transaction, you will get duplicates. Pay attention until you are sure things are going smoothly for you. |

| Carl, Thanks for writting back. What i ended up doing was del my transfer from checking to investment and then changing the downloaded version like you mentioned. I was just hoping there was an easier way like between my checking and credit card account. When it downloads data from the credit card and see a payment posted that matches the transfer i setup from the checking, it asks if this is the same transaction. --Mike "Cal Learner-- MVP" <via_newsgroup[at]please.tnx> wrote in message news:23cr201re9oueu571p74ujrkfcem0m1r5e[at]4ax.com... - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, Mike I wrote: > > i have two accounts one checking and another investment account. > > every month i transfer money into the investment account and its registered > > in money as a transfer, the problem is the investment account downloads > > transactions again from the investment website and my deposits are > > duplicated. > > How can i treat these as one deposit. > When you download, you need to click Change to match the downloaded > transaction to the existing transfer. > If that is not available, let's discuss further... vintage of Money, > how transfer is entered, etc. |

| Don't download? Obviously you can do a better job understanding the transaction structure than the financial institutions and Money can.
