Default Money 2002 Wont Start
The same thing happened to me. I had just installed
Security Update for Windows XP (KB828028). I restored XP
to that restore point and then Money 2002 worked.
Coinsidence or conflict between the security update and
money 2002? I don't know. Can anybody confirm this
conflict?

Money 2002.. I was missing a file MNYCORED.DLL

seems that Hotfix KB828028 breaks money 2002

I put the hotfix on this morning after using money 2002 earlier.

After the reeboot money 2002 would no longer run
I tried un-installing the hotfix but that did not help

Un-installing Money and re-installing fixed the problem

I had the same problem.

I suddenly got a message that my Money 2002 doesnt need
any more updates and then money wont launch anymore.
Reinstall doesnt help.

Uninstall and then fresh install fixes it but if I ever
allow another update, I get the message again and then it
stops working again.
