But since he can paste the string in, no extra work on his part is required. *rq.txt, *rs.txt would occur if he has done Ctrl+Shift+<Connect> for downloads. This is probably much less likely, but if it were *my* computer, *rq.txt, *rs.txt would exist. They would have account data for particular FIs. |

| Good point re. the other file types, to which I'd add *.mbf. Also beware if you've ever exported report results to .CSV, .XML, etc. What are *.inv, *rq.txt, *rs.txt??? I would do a File-> search of all drives entering the following line> like the one that comes with PGP; I suspect there are freeware tools out > there to do this as well. into the file name box: *.mn?, *.m1?, *.inv, *rq.txt, *rs.txt, *.qif, *.ofx Delete, and perhaps wipe, any files found after copying the files you want to keep to CD-R. I suggest burning to two different media as redundancy. I would also delete temporary Internet files and cookies in IE6 Tools-> InternetOptions. The cookies are not Money-related AFAIK, but can be holding passwords for websites and more. You might choose to not delete sample.mny-- that is from the Money install. - quote - > The 99.5% solution: reformat the entire hard disk with some tool designed > for the purpose. > The 100% solution: too late. | Now is probably not the greatest time to think of this problem. It's their computer: they could have been watching your data all along. The 98% solution: delete you .MNY data file(s) using some wipe file routine like the one that comes with PGP; I suspect there are freeware tools out there to do this as well. The 99.5% solution: reformat the entire hard disk with some tool designed for the purpose. The 100% solution: too late. See first paragraph.
