Guess you are right. I figured I would have hit a limit, but I think
I am downloading less that 250. I have been meaning to trim down
that watch account.

I know of no hard limit. However at time when the servers seem
loaded, some people have reported success by trimming down the
number of quotes and in particular trimming out bad symbols.

I have recently "upgraded" to 2004 Prem from 2002. 2002
downloaded quotes no problem. Since the upgrade a few
days ago I continue to not process the quote function.

I tried deleting a bunch of old quotes and removing some
of the quotes (which were valid, but just to reduce the
load). This seemed to work for a bit then as I added some
back to complete the portfolio update it failed again.

Is there a limit on how many quotes you can do?? If there
is, is there a similar problem with quicken?? This is
pretty annoying when you shell out for and "upgrade" and
lose functionality..

I don't know if it is gone for good or not. It may have broken and
been a lower priority to fix over other things. It may have broken
and not be deemed worth fixing. I don't know. I do know that an
unusual number of M97 people reported here that quotes stopped
working. The thread started by asking "Does anyone get pricing
updates on-line using money?" The answer to that question is quite
clearly "yes".

been able to get ANY information from ANYBODY. There seems
to be a problem with 'a server' that handles the Passport
function but I think this pertains to newer versions of
$$, not Money97 v5.0 that I have loved for sooo many
years. The consensus from those not in the know is that MS
pulled the plug w/o telling anybody it was going to
happen. I'm hoping to find a definitive answer.

Default on-line quotes

I used to, but for some reason, it doesn't seem to work
lately. Anyone have any ideas?
