| Shorty, You are now my latest hero. this was so obvious that I did not even look for this solution. I did not want to use my passport password to protect my money files. everyone in my house knows the passport pasword, duh!!! I agree that there should be a file open option, requiring the use of one or two passwords, depending on what you want to do, thanks -- regards, Larry "Shorty" <hankxxxx[at]hankmack.com> wrote in message news:402bd6f2$1_4[at]127.0.0.1... - quote - > A MS tech steered to FILE> PASSPORT MANAGER which allowed me to switch to my > current passport or to drop Passport altogether which is what I did since > I > doi not use MS Bill Pay. He also told me they were having a problem with a server that does something to Passport that could cause problems. Hank |
