passport blocks money access

try blowing out all your cookies and temp internet files. that's what
finally fixed it for me.

I'm having similar problems. Although I can log into a
passport account while NOT in Money 04, I cannot login
to passport through Money I'm getting the following error
message "The sign-in attempt for *my passport* was
unsucessful. Please try your sign-in name and password
again."
I am running McAfee Anti-Virus and McAfee Personal
Firewall (version 8) XP Home, SP1 with all updates
applied. I've tweeked the firewall rules and even turned
off the fire wall and still get the same message. I have
no problem logging in to passport logginh in via MSN
messanger.

Since this was supposedly fixed on the Money servers last night, are you
still having problems?
If so, try shutting down and restarting your computer and see if it will
allow you to sign into your Passport in Money.
If it still fails, then you may have something else interferring with the
authentication (Firewall, anti-virus software, etc).

I've been unable to login to Money using my passport
since February 5th. I sent a note to Support and they
told me it's because the servers are busy and to keep
trying. What a bunch of baloney! I can still at least
login to my money file by bypassing the passport, but
none of the synchronization settings will work without
it. Coincidentally, I'm unable to view my accounts in MSN
MoneyCentral too. I get "page cannot be displayed" errors
when I try to use my passport there too. I can use my
passport everywhere else though, so I'm relatively
certain it's not a passport issue.
