Default Re: Cannot Input Mutual Fund Merger

How did you try to get Microsoft to respond? An online support case? Sitting
down with a Ouji board?

Anyway, a FAQ-in-waiting says:

q) My mutual find just merged with another, but merger doesn't seem to be an
option for mutual funds. What do I do?

a) Per Cal Learner:
If you did not have both funds, there is a very good solution. Go to
the Investment's details. Change the symbol. Then Rename, using the
Rename button, to the surviving fund's name.

Also, you will probably have to Record a Split to reflect the
conversion factor. Remember that the split of must be expressed as
a ratio of integer numbers that are less than 65,536. If you have
trouble producing the ratio, post the conversion factor.

I suggest a Comment in the details to memorialize the event.

If you have had both funds before the merger, something more complex, TBD.

Default Cannot Input Mutual Fund Merger

I have Money 2002 and cannot record a mutual fund
merger. Stock mergers are no problem. Can anyone help
out there? Microsoft does not respond.
