| Ahh, I see what you're saying. I was assumming that all the recurring bills were actual 'entries' (for lack of a better word) in the calendar, which were determined when I setup the scheduled payments on the loan. I think what you're saying is that these are calculated 'on the fly' whenever I go to the 'Pay Bills' section of Money (or at startup). Thanks again, Bryan - quote - > -----Original Message----- > If it only shows two payments left, after two payments there should be > nothing to delete. | Thanks for your help Dick, I appreciate your replies. After the last payment, I guess I'll just close the account (yea!) and delete all remaining occurrances. I'm a little curious to see what Money would do with the balance on this loan account. I'm guessing it will probably just start going positive (but it'll probably go nuts and trash the system <grin> ). Thanks again! | As I would have expected. I'd say just ignore the calendar on this one. It sounds like a bug. (Of course, Budget Planner ignores start and end dates as well, so go figure.) | Interestingly, it shows 2 payments left with an end date of 3/22/04, which is correct. The checkbox for 'This payment will end at some point in time' is checked and it is disabled, as is the number of payments remaining and the end date fields. | Go look at the scheduled bill and see how many payments are left, not at the calendar. | Hope someone can help with this: I have an automobile loan in Money 2000 that I have set up as a monthly recurring bill. This loan will be paid off in 2 months, yet it shows up as a scheduled bill well past this 2 month pay-off date. The loan account shows an accurate balance and it shows that there are 2 payments left. I looked forward a full 12 months and it's still scheduling payments. Did I screw something up to make this recurring bill continue to show up in the Pay Bills section of Money, seemingly forever? Help! TIA, Bryan P.S. If it matters, this account is not part of my debt reduction plan. |
