Default Re: Home Inventory

That's unfortunate as the ability to add items to the inventory as you're
entering transactions makes maintaining the inventory much simpler (the
import feature would be nice also). Hopefully, someone from MS is monitoring
this newsgroup and they will give some consideration to adding this
capability in the future.

Thanks for your reply,

Joe

Hi Joe,

There is not currently any way to automatically add items to the Home
Inventory portion of Money, nor will it accept imports. You'd have to enter
it manually.

The MVP program does not constitute employment or contractual obligation
with Microsoft Corporation.

Default Home Inventory

I have personal property inventory information stored in an Access database.
Anyone aware of a way to import that information into Money's Home Inventory
(with mapping of fields). Also, years ago, I used Quicken and there was a
feature to automatically add a transaction to the home inventory, I haven't
found anything like that in Money and was wondering if I was overlooking
something.

Thanks,

Joe
