p.s., please advise if you download transaction data. If you do, I'm not
going to be able to help. I consider downloaded transaction data
fundamentally evil and far worse for people who are not highly familiar with
Money.

And why do you believe the paycheck is a debit? Please cite the balance
before the paycheck deposit including the parentheses if they are present.
Please cite the amount of the paycheck and which column (my copy of M04
shows "Payment" and "Deposit" for a "Bank" account) it is in. Please cite
the balance after the paycheck including the parentheses if present. Then
we'll figure out where to go from there.

Yes, I probably am overdrawn if every paycheck I put in
there is a debit from my account!! It is set up as a
bank account as I said before.

It will be very hard to help you if you really are fundamentally clueless on
how Money works. It's like talking a person who's never been in a car home
from the grocery store in a car over a cell phone. It's hard to even tell
where to begin.

Go to the account register for the account in question. Click on the thing
that says Change account details. See the thing that says Account type: ???
What's it say between Account type: and Change???

I'm sorry! I don't know anything about it!! It is set
up as a bank account and it doesn't say I owe anything as
far as I can see.

I'm trying to help, but you are making it hard!!

I asked you to confirm what account type the checking account is set to (go
to Account details). You didn't answer that. I asked if it said "You owe" at
the bottom. You didn't answer that.

Yes, I do still have some cash since my credits and
debits are about equal every month. However, I did
notice also that my account balance is in red () now that
this is turned around. Another weird thing is that my
savings account works fine, it is just my check (which
has worked fine until now) Please help!

Is the type of account still some derivative of "Cash"? Does the line at the
bottom say "You owe"???

Default Please help! Credits and Debits!

I have been running microsoft money 2003 for almost a
year now, and when I went to do my checkbook this month,
every payment that I would enter into my account would
increase my account balance and every deposit that I
enter into my account will decrease the balance. I don't
know if a setting is changed or what, but I can't do
anything with it until this is right as everything is
messed up. I have since upgraded to money 2004, and this
program is doing the same thing. I have checked and
double checked to make sure I was entering things right
and as far as I can tell, I am....please help! Alyssa
