Default lost files

I recently lost all my files on my hard drive and so began
the task of reloading all and figure I would have to again
manually imput all 4+ years of bank info etc... since my
back up disks were "corrupted" per MSmoney, Imagine my
suprise then at finding that all of my payees are still in
the payee listing when I started. Is it possible that
there is a file in the system somewhere that holds this
and hopefully all of my "lost" data for the last 4 yrs?
help......
Thanks
