After all of this discussion, yesterday everything started
working fine once more. I do believe that the problem with
with MS all along; they just would not step forward and
admit the error was their's.

Updating Active X controls as suggested by Microsoft
Support and other posting on this board solved the problem
for me with Money 2004 Deluxe running on XP Home. See
Knowledge Base Article 328831, which directly addresses
this issue.

Money 2004 Premium update works fine on a win 2000 platform
but not on my new xp platform. It used to work once in a
great while, but, alas, now it has stopped working entirely.

Any new insights?
