Default Import Excel data into Money

After years of using a basic DOS product I have now moved
to MS Money (which looks great). I am trying to get my
data from the DOS system into Money. I can create CSV or
Excel files from the old system - but can't see how to
import these into Money. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I can see that Quicken can import csv files and then
Money has a Quicken import feature, but this seems a
long-winded way of doing it and I don't have Quicken
anyway.

Any help or pointers would be appreciated
