Default Re: Mortgage payment

Normally, if you update the interest rate details for a loan account, even
if you change it and then change it back to the original value and save,
Money will ask if you want it to re-calculate the loan. If you have got the
principal to the correct value, you may want to update from the date of that
adjustment forward. It may take a couple of tries, or you may just want to
make the last balance adjustment the same date as your last statement.

What do you mean "didn't pay them from there?"

In general, you use the "special category" Loan Payment:[name of loan acct].
It expenses an interest component and does a Principal Transfer for the
principal component.

Default Mortgage payment

How do I get the mortgage payments that I made in 2003 to
show up in the mortgage account if I didn't pay them from
there. It is a simple transfer from one account to
another. I am able to get them by search but I am unable
to find a way to add them to the mortgage account and
thus reduce my principal?
