Default Re: bad password error on swapped drive

I know it is a damn fool error message but the password error usually means
that you are trying to read your Money file with an earlier version of Money
than the one it was created with. i.e. old PC M2004 - new PC M2003.

Default Re: bad password error on swapped drive

try to repair the file with the function under the File menu

if the problem cannot be fixed by doing this, try to search MNY or MBF files
on your computer, they can be backup Money files

Default bad password error on swapped drive

Recently the computer I had Money on died so I pulled the
hard drive and hooked it up to my other computer and
installed Money. However, when I try to openthe .mny
or .mbf from my original computer I get an "invalid
password error". I am certain the password is correct.

Has anyone else had a problem with passwords and swapped
drives? Any rememdy known?

Thanks,
Jeff
